Bahrin GP - Kubica in pole

"BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica took the first pole position of his Formula One career in Bahrain on Saturday. The Polish driver pipped Ferrari's Brazilian Felipe Massa for the top spot at Sakhir with a final flying lap of one minute 33.096 seconds.

Brazilian Massa won from pole position in Bahrain last year but is still without a point after two races. Australian Mark Webber was third quickest for Renault-powered Red Bull, ahead of Toyota's Italian Jarno Trulli.

McLaren's 23-year-old championship leader Lewis Hamilton - who was forced to use a spare chassis after a heavy crash on Friday - was third fastest. Hamilton will share the second row in Sunday's race with Ferrari's world champion Kimi Raikkonen. Briton Hamilton leads Raikkonen by three points in the championship. "
